A small group of Sharp-tailed Sparrows was discovered along the North shore of pool # 4 in the Carlos Avery WMA. The birds were found on September 21. This bird was observed on the morning of the 22nd. This is the first time the Sharp-tailed Sparrow has been reported in Anoka County.
